When did you start working at Advanced Network Solutions? February 2011
What is your favorite thing about working at Advanced Network Solutions? The work is challenging and sometimes stressful, but I still absolutely love working here. I never watch the clock and think, “is it 5 o’clock yet???” This is the first job I have ever had where I never watch the clock.
Please tell us one interesting thing about yourself? I am partially color blind. I did not figure it out until I was an adult. I always wondered why those gems didn’t explode in when I connected them while playing Bejeweled …I was like, “THEY ARE THE SAME COLOR!” Took me taking an online test I came across by chance before I figured it out. I always wondered why the weather radar showed the same greenish colors for the intensity levels of rain. Apparently there are red and other colors there I just can’t distinguish. Also, I still don’t even see a green traffic light as green. I always grew up thinking, “why do they call it a green light when it’s white?”
What is your version of a perfect PTO day? A perfect PTO day is planned long in advance. I will get up first thing and hit the gym. Next I will go on a shopping spree at an electronics store, getting everything my wife tells me not to. Next there will be pizza for lunch and then a stop at an old school Arcade for some quarter munching fun. I will then meet up with some friends to go on a skydiving adventure and just pray my parachute opens. After landing on the ground I’ll head back to the house and waste time on the internet watching viral videos and rearranging my electronics to make room for my new stuff. After a nice dinner I will grab a book that suits my interest at the time, currently poker, and read it as I sip on a glass of cab. This is not a “perfect” day, but it is one I would thoroughly enjoy.
Describe one thing you miss about being a kid. I miss the strange feeling I got when I ran into the middle of the street when I knew I wasn’t supposed to. It was like I was standing on top of the world! Gravity even seemed a little weird. When I stand in the middle of the road now, I’m usually having a bad day.
Describe one thing you love about being an adult. I love having the ability have a glass of wine and relax at home with my wife after a hard days work.
Finally, please name your favorite piece of technology you would like to own or do own? That’s easy, my phone. Pretty much the world in my pocket.

Check out these top ten reasons why you should consider switching to VoIP phones for your business. Voice-over-Internet Protocol (VoIP) is basically technology that allows you to make and receive calls over data networks. Instead of traditional phone services which channel analog signals such as the sound of your voice over copper wires, VoIP converts these sounds to digital form first—so that they can be sliced, diced, packaged, and routed over a digital network.
