Job Title: Client IT Manager
When did you start working at Advanced Network Solutions? Jan 2010.
What is your favorite thing about working at Advanced Network Solutions? It sounds cliché but getting to work with so many great people and also I never have a boring day. I never feel like I’m falling in to a rut of doing the same thing day after day, I never know what I am going to be faced with when I wake up in the morning.
Please tell us one interesting thing about yourself? I am an experienced skydiver. I completed the United States Parachute Association’s Accelerated Free Fall Program a few years ago. We would spend half a day to a day “studying” for the tests on the ground, then for our tests I would have to jump out of a plane with an instructor nearby to grade my skills in the air then move on to the next slightly harder skill. Obviously I passed all my tests since I am still here today.
What is your version of a perfect PTO day? Going to a far away country where my phone doesn’t work and I don’t know what language is being spoken.
Describe one thing you miss about being a kid. Not having bills to pay and having summers off.
Describe one thing you love about being an adult. Being able to talk about how hard I had it as a kid and how kids today are soft. I really did walk to school even if it was snowing. We didn’t have internet at home until I was in 7th grade and that was dial up AOL where you got 10 hours a month which was about how long it took to dial in.
Finally, please name your favorite piece of technology you would like to own or do own? One of those hover boards from Back to the Future 2 or the DeLorean time machine if either existed. As for technology that exists I think a powered parachute where you have a fan on your back and take off from anywhere and fly around would be pretty cool.
