Job Description

  • Hands-on technical position
  • Requires resource and time management
  • Perform ad-hoc and scheduled systems consultation for existing clients
  • Act as an escalation point for other engineering escalation for internal staff
  • Detailed and process oriented with amazing problem analysis & solving skill
  • Verbal and written communication skills must be excellent
  • Only self-starters with the ability to find solutions to problems should apply

Specific Experience –Ability to Demonstrate

  • Conceptualize and provide recommendations on technology solutions
  • Implementation, support and troubleshooting of internet connectivity
  • Minimal direct experience with VMware, Xen, or Hyper-V
  • Experience Implementing and/or administering LAN infrastructures
  • Experience working after hours in order to meet client needs and demands
  • Experience providing sales engineering support for sales team
  • Managing deadlines, stress and competing demands
  • Experience managing their own schedule with multiple competing demands

Technical Requirements –Knowledge & Expertise in:

  • Microsoft Server Technologies:
  • Server, Exchange, SQL, Active Directory, Terminal Server
  • Entry level understanding of VMware vSphere (as well as Xen and Hyper-V)
  • Troubleshooting & basic configuration of Cisco, Juniper and SonicWALL Firewalls
  • Basic administration of Cisco and ShoreTelIP Telephony
  • Ability to manipulate hardware as needed

Additional Requirements

  • Fluent in American English
  • Able to lift boxes or materials in excess of ten (10) pounds
  • Maintain reliable and dependable transportation
  • Maintain high-speed internet at home
